| SUBJECT: | Changes to School Administrator's Handbook of Course Codes, Position Codes, and Licensure Codes |
The Department of Education disseminated a copy of the School Administrator's
Handbook of Course Codes, Position Codes, and Licensure Codes to each central office
and each school principal during the month of February, 1999. The handbook was sent
to the central offices under Supts. Memo. No. 40, dated February 26, 1999. Several
course titles have changed, courses have been deleted, and new courses added since
you received your publication. These changes are reflected on the attached pages.
Questions regarding course codes may be directed to Vernon L. Wildy, Office of
Secondary Instructional Services at (804) 225-2877. Questions regarding licensure
endorsement codes may be directed to personnel in the Division of Teacher Education
and Licensure at (804) 225-2022. Questions concerning the content of specific courses
should be directed to the appropriate Department of Education content area
specialist.
