SUBJECT:	Cost-Effective Purchase of Natural Gas VIA State Contract

 Attached is a memo from John DePerro, project manager for a program to purchase 
natural gas at a reduced rate for Commonwealth of Virginia agencies and local 
government agencies including public schools.  If you are currently being supplied 
gas by your local natural gas utility company, you can choose to purchase the 
product from another source and have it delivered by your local company in the same 
service lines you now use.  The commonwealth has negotiated a bulk rate for a number 
of state agency users and you may join in that contract if you find the rates 
attractive.

Informational seminars will be provided on May 8 and 12, 2000, as indicated in the 
attached memo from Mr. DePerro.  Additional informational seminars can be provided 
if needed.

Please provide the information requested by Mr. DePerro if you are interested in 
exploring the possibilities of this opportunity to purchase natural gas.
