Transmittal of "Statements of Administrative Impact and Projected Costs of Implementation" for the Proposed Revision to the Licensure Regulations for School Personnel (Career Switcher Alternative Route to Licensure for Military Personnel and American Sign Language) and Regulations Governing Substitute Teachers |
As part of its responsibilities for promulgating new regulations or revisions to existing regulations, the Board of Education is required to develop a statement of the administrative impact and the projected costs of implementing and complying with such regulations. The Board and the Department of Education are required to send a copy of the statement to each division superintendent [Refer to Section 22.1-17 of the Code of Virginia].
Attached are statements for the establishment of a career switcher alternative route to licensure for military personnel in the Licensure Regulations for School Personnel (Attachment A); addition of an endorsement in American Sign Language in the Licensure Regulations for School Personnel; and the promulgation of regulations governing substitute teachers.
