SUBJECT: Documents for Preparing the Fiscal Year 2000 Annual School Report

Administrative Supts. Memo No. 40, dated July 14, 2000, transmitted to you the instructions for completing the Fiscal Year 2000 Annual School Report (ASR). Enclosed with this memo are the following additional reports required to complete the ASR.

    1.  County/City Ledger (Cash receipts)
    2.  Sales Tax Reports
        a.  Accrual Method (to be reported on the ASR)
        b.  Cash Method
    3.  Fringe Benefits
        a.  Accrual Method (to be reported on the ASR)
    4.  Basic Aid Adjustment Sheet
    5.  Retiree Health Care Credit Allocations

The revenue shown on the County/City Ledger should be used for reporting on the ASR with the exception of Fringe Benefits, Sales Tax, Basic Aid, and Retiree Health Care Credit. Please use the enclosed reports for the reporting of Fringe Benefits, Sales Tax, Basic Aid, and Retiree Health Care Credit. For federal funds, you may report accrual amounts if reimbursements were submitted prior to June 30, 2000, but the funds were not received until after July 1, 2000.

If you have any questions concerning these documents, please call Ms. June Eanes, budget director, at (804) 225-2025. Please submit the completed ASR to the Department of Education by September 15, 2000, by following the instructions outlined in Administrative Supts. Memo No. 40.
