This memorandum provides information regarding the National Congress on Aviation and Space Education being held at the Crystal Gateway Marriott Hotel in Arlington, VA, April 3-6, 2002. The conference is sponsored by the Civil Air Patrol and the United States Air Force and is considered to be the premier aerospace education conference in the nation.
Master teachers from around the nation present national standards-based sessions that show educators how they can inspire and challenge their students to excel in all subject areas. Educators of all disciplines may benefit by exploring the latest tools, standards, and techniques available for use in today’s classrooms, as well as by interacting with other educators and a diverse group of aerospace experts, business, and industry leaders to support their classroom programs.
School divisions may want to consider sending several teachers and administrators to this national conference because it will be held in Virginia this year. You may find further information on the conference along with the registration form at:
