| SUBJECT: | Payment of State Funds for School Year 2001-2002 |
The state reimbursement for the National School Lunch Program will be paid via Electronic Data Interchange(EDI). These funds are identified as "STATE LUNCH MATCH FUNDS" on the EDI and must be credited to the school division‘s food service account. Attached is a list of the payment amounts that will be made for each school division.
In accordance with federal regulations, the state payment to each school division is based on the total number of lunch meals claimed for reimbursement during the 2000-2001 school year. The state reimbursement rate for this year is approximately $0.053 per lunch meal.
