Regulations
Governing Career and Technical Education Adopted by Board of Education |
The revised Regulations Governing Career and Technical
Education were adopted by the Board of Education on November 27, 2001, and
have been published for thirty days in the Virginia Register of
Regulations. The effective date for the
regulations was January 30, 2002.
However, the date for implementation of the regulations will be July 1,
2002.
The
regulations are posted on the Department of Educations Web page at
http://www.pen.k12.va.us/VDOE/Instruction/CTE/regulations/. The department has prepared a detailed
summary of the major changes in the regulations. The discussion of the changes and implications for school
divisions and regional technical centers is located on the Web page listed
above.
