for Information Requirements of P.L. 107-110 No Child Left Behind Act of 2001
|
To assist
school divisions in complying with the information and reporting requirements
for adequate yearly progress, the report cards, and performance indicators of
the No Child Left Behind Act, the Office of Information Technology will
maintain a listing of data requirements on the Virginia Department of
Educations website at www.pen.k12.va.us/VDOE/Publications/NCLB.
This listing
will identify information that must be maintained for each student and teacher
to meet the adequate yearly progress and report card data requirements. School
divisions should use this list in planning any updates to their information systems
or data collections to ensure that the necessary information is available when
requested during the 2002-03 school year.
The Web page
will be updated as requirements are developed by the Department of
Education. When updates are made to the
requirements document, the Department of Education will notify the student
information system and other applicable contacts that have been identified
through the School and Staff Administration Data Collection (Supts. Memo
No. 40).
Questions or comments relating to the
data requirements Web page should be directed to Bethann Canada, director of
information technology, (mailto:bcanada@mail.vak12ed.edu)
at (804) 225-2951 or Janet Christopher, data administration manager, (mailto:jchristopher@mail.vak12ed.edu)
