SUBJECT:	United Nations Day Celebration

The United Nations Day Committee of Virginia will host events celebrating the theme of the United Nations beginning with activities on Tuesday, October 22, 2002, and culminating with an International Parade and Food and Music Festival on Saturday, October 26, 2002, in Norfolk, Virginia.

The activities will include Virginias International Trade Summit on Thursday, October 24, 2002, featuring Governor Mark Warner as the keynote speaker. The summit will include a panel discussion moderated by Dr. Larry J. Sabato, University Professor of Politics and Director of the University of Virginia Center for Politics.
