Enrollment/Demographic Form - Fall Collection |
The following
is information on the fall collection of the 2002-2003 Career and Technical
Education Reporting System (CTERS) 1 Report (Form #QF040) for career and
technical education. This report is
more commonly called the Secondary Enrollment/Demographic Form (SEDF).
All division
career and technical education administrators received a manual that was mailed
from the Office of Career and Technical Education Services on August 7,
2002. This manual contains directions
for completing this report and the due date.
All data must
be submitted to the Department of Education on or before Friday, October 4,
2002. Early submission is strongly
encouraged. The SEDF data are critical
to the Office of Career and Technical Education Services as the information is
used for a variety of purposes, including career and technical Standards of
Quality (SOQ) funds for school divisions and calculating the nontraditional
enrollment federal performance standard.
The SEDF report
must be submitted electronically (mailto: cters@pen.k12.va.us),
either in the Excel spreadsheet or ASCII flat file format.
A
custom-designed spreadsheet and detailed instructions for completing the report
can be downloaded from the Department of Educations website. The complete address to access the
spreadsheet is http://www.pen.k12.va.us/VDOE/Instruction/CTE/cters/. On this page, choose Users Manual for the
instructions and SEDF Template for the specialized spreadsheet. A file layout is included in the
instructions for school divisions that prefer to submit the SEDF data on an
ASCII flat file.
You may
contact Susan Williams (mailto: cters@pen.k12.va.us),
specialist, data management for career and technical education, at
804/371-2924, if you have any questions concerning the SEDF report.
