for the Participation of Students with Disabilities in the State
Accountability System |
At its
September 26, 2002, meeting, the Virginia Board of Education approved
guidelines for the participation of students with disabilities in the state
accountability system. The guidelines are located on our Web page at /administrators/superintendents_memos/2002/inf140a.pdf.
These guidelines replace those adopted by the Board in October 1997. This document addresses the participation of
students with disabilities in both the Standards of Learning Assessment Program
and the Virginia Alternate Assessment Program.
