Payment of
State Funds for the School Nutrition Program for the School Year 2002-2003 |
The state
reimbursement for the National School Lunch Program will be paid via Electronic
Data Interchange(EDI). These funds are identified as STATE LUNCH MATCH FUNDS
on the electronic transfer document and must be credited to the school
divisions food service account.
Attached is a list of the payment amounts that will be made for each
school division.
In accordance
with federal regulations, the state payment to each school division is based on
the total number of lunch meals claimed for reimbursement during the 2001-2002
school year. The state reimbursement
rate for this year is approximately $0.053 per lunch meal.
