One-day Conference:Controlling Moisture and
Microbial Problems in Buildings and HVAC Systems |
The Department of Education, in association with the
Virginia Educational Facility Planners, is sponsoring a one-day conference
titled, Controlling Chronic Moisture and Microbial Problems in Buildings and
HVAC Systems. This conference is being
presented by the Mid-Atlantic Environmental Hygiene Resource Center and
supported by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Mid-Atlantic
Region.
The topics covered will relate to school buildings
and will provide valuable information to facilities and maintenance personnel
as well as administrators and design professionals in dealing with moisture and
microbial problems in school buildings. We invite you to send a representative
to attend this conference to be held on November 18, 2002, at the James Monroe
Building in Richmond, Virginia.
Since space is limited, we encourage you to return
the registration form in the enclosed brochure no later than November 8, 2002.
On November 13, 2002, we will confirm all registrations by a fax notification.
This notification will include directions to the James Monroe Building and
parking information.
