Adult Education and Literacy Statewide Annual
Performance Report |
Under the Adult Education and Family Literacy Act
of the Workforce Investment Act of 1998 and the National Reporting System,
Virginia is required to report annually on adult basic education program
performance. Section 22.1-226.B of the
Code of Virginia requires school divisions to evaluate adult education programs
for success and effectiveness, and the Board of Education must report the
information to the Governor and the General Assembly. The attached report for 2000-2001 was presented to the Board of
Education at its November 20, 2002, meeting.
