Title IV: Safe and Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act Fiscal
Year 2002-2003 Progress Report |
Section 4116 of the Safe and Drug-Free Schools and
Communities Act (SDFSCA) under the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001
requires the collection of information about state and local implementation of
the SDFSCA. States are required to
submit information on state and local programs conducted with assistance
furnished through the SDFSCA. Information
from school divisions is required for inclusion in the Virginia report to the
United States Department of Education.
Two copies of the progress report for the fiscal year 2002 (July
1,2002 June 30, 2003), must be submitted to the Virginia Department of
Education as soon as possible, but no later than October 24,2003. In the
absence of new reporting requirements from the U.S. Department of Education,
the reporting form remains essentially unchanged from the format used in
previous years.
