The Appropriation Act (Item 147, paragraph B.9., Chapter 899, 2002 Acts of Assembly) requires the Department of Education to provide the General Assembly with a report on the status of teacher salaries. The final report has been transmitted to the General Assembly and is posted on the departments website. Excerpts of this report are included in the attachments to this memorandum in PDF format.
