Training Opportunity
on Medicaid and Schools |
The Virginia
Department of Education (VDOE)is pleased to announce a training opportunity for
all school divisions on Medicaid and schools.
The one-day training session will be held in Charlottesville, Virginia
on April 4, 2003. This training session
can accommodate 400 participants.
Dept. of
Medical Assistance Services (DMAS) and VDOE staff will address the following
topics in the training:
overview of the Medicaid enhancement
program
Medicaid transportation
Medicaid administrative claiming
Health Insurance Portability and
Accountability Act (HIPAA)
psychological services
skilled nursing services
physical therapy, occupational
therapy, and speech-language pathology
submission of claims and quarterly
reports
School
divisions interested in this training opportunity must complete the attached
registration by March 21, 2003, and return to Ms. Mary Katharine Easter, Office
of Special Education and Student Services, P.O. Box 2120, Richmond, Virginia
