Energy Smart/High Performance Schools |
The Department of Education, in association with the U.S.
Department of Energy, is sponsoring a one-day seminar titled, Energy
Smart/High Performance Schools. This
conference is being presented by the Department of Energys Energy Smart
Schools program and its Rebuild America business partnerships.
The topics covered will relate to existing and new school
buildings and will provide valuable information about energy conservation in
school buildings. This seminar is
intended for facilities and maintenance personnel, school administrators, and
design professionals. We invite you to
send representatives to this conference to be held on October 29, 2003, at the
James Monroe Building in Richmond, Virginia.
Since space is limited, we will confirm only two attendees
per organization. Any additional
individuals will be placed on a standby list and confirmed only if space
allows. The registration deadline for
this conference is October 17, 2003.
Registration will be confirmed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Directions to the James Monroe Building and
parking information are included on the attached registration form. Please be aware that you will be required to
present some form of identification with a picture to enter the James Monroe
Building.
If you have any questions, or need additional information
about this conference, please call Hunter Barnes, architectural consultant,
Support Services at (804) 225-2035.
