New Building
Administrators Conference |
The purpose of this memo is to announce the New
Building Administrators Conference sponsored by the Virginia Association of
Secondary School Principals (VASSP) and the Virginia Department of Education.
The conference has been planned to meet the needs of professionals who are new
to building administration, as well as experienced administrators.
Reflecting the growing number of first-time
appointments to administrator positions (principals, assistant principals,
other middle management/supervisor positions), the focus of the program is
primarily to help professionals who are new to the job, as well as provide a
meaningful refresher to anyone who wishes to gear up for a new school year.
It will provide valuable information for all administrators, both new and
experienced.
The conference is scheduled for October 13-14, 2003,
at the Sheraton West in Richmond, Virginia.
