Payment of
State Funds for the School Nutrition Program for the School Year 2003-2004 |
Federal
Regulations (7CFR 210.17) require states to provide state reimbursement for
schools participating in the National School Lunch Program. The state reimbursement will be paid through
Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) no later than the end of November 2003. These
funds will be identified as SCHOOL NUTRITION STATE MATCH on the electronic
transfer document and must be credited to the school divisions food service
account.
The state
payment to each school division is based on the total number of lunch meals
claimed for reimbursement during the 2002-2003 school year. Attached is a list
of the payment amounts that will be made for each school division.
