SUBJECT:

Individual Student Alternative Education Plan Program

 

 

The Virginia Department of Education will make $2,247,581 available in the fiscal year 2004-2005 to school divisions with an Individual Student Alternative Education Plan (ISAEP) Program, as set forth in the Code of Virginia 22.1-254.D. Funds for the fiscal year 2004-2005 will be for services for students 16 years of age and older who meet program provisions established in the Code of Virginia and by the Board of Education.

 

School divisions will be notified of funding awards after receipt and review of program applications. We anticipate that all funds will be sent no later than October 2004.

 

The application for ISAEP funds and the 2004-2005 allocations for school divisions are attached. Please submit your application no later than July 16, 2004. If no program is planned, write on the face of the application form your school divisions name and code, as well as the words NO PROGRAM IS PLANNED.
