SUBJECT:	Submission of Division Remediation Report for Fiscal Year 2004-2005, Due Date: September 15, 2005

Regulation 8-VAC-20-630 provides standards for state-funded remedial programs and requires school divisions to report specified data pertaining to their state-funded remedial programs and annually evaluate the success of those programs.

In Superintendents Administrative Memo No. 4, dated February 4, 2005, divisions were informed that data specified in 8-VAC-20-630 regarding remediation programs conducted during the 2004 summer must be submitted to the Department of Education by September 15, 2005.

The department has developed an electronic form for reporting this data. This report is included as Attachment A to this memo. All reports will be submitted electronically to Kathleen Smith, associate director, School Improvement Office, by September 15, 2005.
