7th Annual Commonwealth of Virginia's
Information Technology Symposium (COVITS 2005) |
The 7th Annual
Commonwealth of Virginia's Information Technology Symposium (COVITS 2005) will
take place September 18-20, 2005, at the Greater Richmond Convention Center.
The symposium theme,
"The Promise of Digital Government," will highlight the leading role
that technology plays in making governments more responsive, citizens and
societies safer, education more pervasive, and healthcare more accessible. COVITS 2005 is nationally recognized as an
important event, where industry solutions meet government requirements. The challenges facing governments and
education and the solutions offered by the private sector will be examined.
COVITS 2005 will
continue its emphasis on providing outstanding speakers and quality networking
opportunities for attendees. In
addition to longer exhibit hall hours and larger exhibit spaces, this year the
program will feature workshops where twelve senior level officials from state
and local governments, plus higher education and k-12 schools, will describe
their need for technical and consulting assistance from the private sector.
