2005-2006 Discipline, Crime, and Violence Report |
The
purpose of this memo is to provide information about collecting data on
discipline, crime, and violence in public schools for the 2005-2006 year. Data should be submitted for the 365-day
period starting with the first day of the 2005-2006 school year. Data submitted will meet the reporting
requirements for the following:
The data collection process will remain the same; however, there are several modifications to codes. Data fields have been added for the collection of new information required by state law passed in 2005 and new federal special education requirements. All incidents within a regional center/program and division center must be reported to the enrolled division.
The
Discipline, Crime, and Violence Data Collection User Guide for 2005-2006
is online. This User Guide
explains the modifications for the 2005-2006 school year. The opening date for
the 2005-2006 Web collection process will be August 16, 2005, and the closing
date will be July 31, 2006. The closing
date for final submission for the school year 2005-2006 will not include the
summer school programs. The summer
school program data will be carried over to the 2006-2007 school year.

home page, or Reports at the bottom of the page, and then select Discipline,
