Title I, Part A Comparability Report |
To receive
Title I, Part A funds, a school division must annually verify comparability of
services for Title I and non-Title I schools as stipulated in Section 1120 (A)
of the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001(NCLB). An Excel workbook was previously provided
to assist school divisions with completing and verifying the required Title I
comparability calculations. This year, the required data will be submitted
through the Single Sign-on for Web Systems (SSWS). Please contact your local
SSWS person to obtain access to the Title I Comparability Report Web-based form
and the accompanying instructions. The contact person can be found at http://www.doe.virginia.gov/VDOE/Publications/ADMN/datacoll/schid_contacts.xls.
The 2006-2007
Title I Comparability Report will be available beginning December 15, 2006, at https://p1pe.doe.virginia.gov/ssws.
Instructions for completing this report are indicated in the SSWS and are
attached to this memorandum.
After
entering the required data, please print a copy of the verification report, and
obtain the signature of the superintendent or designee. Retain the complete
report on file in the Title I coordinators office, and fax only the signed
verification page to Mrs. Helen Tucker, administrative support, at (804)371-7347
before January 29, 2007.
