Grade Level Alternative (VGLA) Appeal to Delay Score Entry |
In
recognition of the time and resources required to complete the VGLA scoring
process, school divisions are being offered the opportunity to appeal for an
extension of the deadline by which VGLA scores must be submitted.
If
an appeal is approved, your division will be required to submit 50 percent of
the VGLA scores in the online system by June 9, 2006. The 50 percent will be based on the number of VGLA Collections of
Evidence entered on your 2005-2006 Enrollment Survey.
The remaining 50 percent of the scores must be entered into the online
system no later than June 30, 2006. To submit a Delayed Score Entry Appeal,
please complete the attached appeal form and return no later than April 21,
2006. You will be notified whether your
appeal was approved by May 8, 2006.
If you have questions,
please contact the Division of Assessment and Reporting at darfax@doe.virginia.gov
or call (804) 225-2107.
