2006 National Conference on Aviation and Space
Education (NCASE) October 19-21, 2006 |
The United States Air Force Auxiliary Civil Air
Patrol, in cooperation with several state, federal, and private agencies, will
conduct the 2006 National Conference on Aviation and Space Education (NCASE)
October 19-21, 2006, at the Crystal Gateway Marriott Hotel in Arlington,
Virginia.
NCASE is an opportunity to bring educators
from all disciplines together with colleagues, educational leaders, aviation
and space exploration personalities, and industry representatives to help bring
the wonder of aviation and space to the nations students.
The National Conference on Aviation and Space
Education will focus on the core subject areas with an emphasis toward
hands-on, minds-on sessions applied to the National Science Education Standards
and the Virginia Standards of Learning.
Educators will be eligible to earn 30 relicensure points. Conference tracks include:
science of aviation and space;
teaching and learning methodologies and technologies
using aerospace education as the theme;
outreach for aerospace education; and
importance of educating youth for aerospace careers.
Online registration is now available. Registration rates, the conference agenda,
and additional information can be obtained on the NCASE website at: www.ncase.info.
