Adoption of Cut Scores for Additional Substitute
Tests for Verified Credit |
On April 26, 2006, the Virginia Board of Education adopted cut scores for additional substitute tests for verified credit in Algebra I. The additional tests are the ACT PLAN: Mathematics subtest and the TABE Algebra/Geometry advanced level test. In addition, the Board of Education adopted cut scores for the Cambridge IGCSE English as a Second Language test when used as a substitute test for either the end-of-course English: Writing test or the end-of-course English: Reading test. A list of all tests approved as SOL substitute tests for verified credit is on the Department of Educations Web site at http://www.doe.virginia.gov/VDOE/Assessment/home.shtml
