The Virginia Department of Education will be hosting
a professional development opportunity, Practical Strategies: Working with
Students Struggling in Mathematics.
Teachers who work with students in mathematics, grades 5 through 8,
including special education teachers and teachers of limited English proficient
(LEP) students are invited to attend.
The workshop will be held in each of the
superintendents regions at the start of the 2006-2007 school year as follows:
