SUBJECT:	2006 Academy for New Special Education Administrators

The annual Academy for New Special Education Administrators will be held on September 20-21, 2006, at the Sheraton Park South, located in Richmond, Virginia. The purpose of this academy is to provide special education administrators who are new to their position with information on a variety of topics including state and federal reporting procedures, federal and state data collection, annual plans, updates and changes to current policies and regulations as well as the use of assigned mentors and staff in the Division of Special Education and Student Services.

If your division has employed a new special education administrator, please provide their name, position/title, mailing address, telephone number, and e-mail address so that we can invite them to the academy.
