Strategies
in Middle Grades Mathematics Workshops |
The
Virginia Department of Education, in cooperation with the Virginia Middle
School Association, will host a professional development opportunity for
teachers who work with students in mathematics in grades 6 and 7. Strategies
in Middle Grades Mathematics is also open to special education teachers and
teachers of limited English proficient (LEP) students.
The
workshop will be held in two locations:

Workshops
will be held from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. with lunch provided. One hundred spaces will be available at each
presentation on a first-come, first-serve basis. No more than two people per
division may register. Only one registration form per division is required. The
registration form is attached and should be faxed according to the instructions
on the registration form.
