Virtual
Virginia Course Registration |
The
Department of Education is pleased to announce registration for the Virtual
Virginia program 2007-2008 academic year will open on April 16, 2007. Courses will be offered on full-year and 4x4
semester block schedules. Offerings
include 22 Advanced Placement courses, three world languages and electives in
mythology, creative writing and SAT prep.
New courses for the 2007-2008 academic year include AP French Language,
Spanish IV, AP Calculus BC, and Chinese II.
Students
may earn college degree credit in AP Psychology, U.S. History and Biology at
Public
school students participating in the Early College Scholars program will have
tuition and AP examination fees paid by the Department of Education for any
Virtual Virginia course taken. Students enrolled through the Early College
Scholars Program and taking the courses through Virtual Virginia are expected
to take the associated examinations.
Tuition for non-Early College Scholar students will be $375 times the
local composite index. Details of
