The Virginia
Department of Education is pleased to announce a professional development
academy for new Title I, Part A; Title II, Part A; Title III, Part A; and Title
V, Part A, coordinators on July 31 August 1, 2007, in
The academy
will be held at the Sheraton Park South Hotel in
The
Office of Continuing and Professional Education at Virginia Tech will manage
the registration. Please register online
at http://www.cpe.vt.edu/reg/ncm. The deadline for registration for the
academy is July 13, 2007. Questions
regarding registration should be directed to the Virginia Tech registrar at
(540) 231-5182.
Breaks and
lunch will be provided. Lodging, if required,
will be master billed. Mileage and meals not covered on the master bill may be
charged to the respective local federal program, in accordance with state
travel guidelines. If lodging is
required, a reservation must be made directly with the hotel. When calling,
please
reference Virginia Department of Education NCLB New Coordinators Academy. For reservations at the Sheraton Park Hotel,
please call (804) 323-1144. Overflow
lodging has been arranged at the Holiday Inn Select Richmond - Koger Center South at (888) 400-9714. The
cutoff date for hotel reservations is July
