SUBJECT:	Summer Training Sessions for Algebra Readiness Diagnostic Test (ARDT)

This summer the Virginia Department of Education will sponsor six regional training sessions for the revised Algebra Readiness Diagnostic Test (ARDT). These workshops will provide hands-on experience in setting up, administering, and working with data from the ARDT, with particular attention to the new features. Workshops will be held at the following locations:

August 6, 2007	Christiansburg Middle School, Montgomery County	9 a.m. 12 Noon
August 7, 2007	Jack Jouett Middle School, Albemarle County	9 a.m. 12 Noon
August 8, 2007	Lucille Brown Middle School, Richmond City	9 a.m. 12 Noon
August 9, 2007	Thomas Eaton Middle School, Hampton City	9 a.m. 12 Noon
August 15, 2007	Alan Leis Center, East Lab, Falls Church	9 a.m. 12 Noon

Please complete and return the attached registration form by July 16, 2007. Registrations will be accepted in the order they are received until the workshops are full. Each division may send up to two people to learn about the revisions. Attendees should be either ARDT division coordinators or ARDT tutors who can provide training for your division.
