Format
for Copyright Notations on the Standards of Learning Tests |
Beginning
with the Spring 2008 Standards of Learning (SOL) Test Administration, test items
for grades 3 through 8 containing copyrighted content such as photographs,
passages, diagrams, or other art renderings will have the specific copyright
information displayed with each item. Previously, copyright information was
presented on the front inside cover of each test booklet. All end-of-course
tests currently have copyright information displayed in this new format.
The
copyright information only serves to fulfill legal copyright requirements and
does not impact test items. The PDF
attachment provides an example of the new copyright format.
