Individual
Student Alternative Education Plan (ISAEP) Program Application |
The
Virginia Department of Education will make $2,247,581 available in the fiscal
year 2007-2008 to school divisions with an Individual Student Alternative
Education Plan (ISAEP) Program, as set forth in the Code of Virginia 22.1-254.D, and approved by the American Council
on Education as a GED Option Program. It is the goal of the Virginia Department
of Education that all local education agencies (LEAs) participate in the ISAEP
program. Funds will provide services for students 16 years of age and older who
meet program provisions established in the Code
of Virginia and by the Virginia Board of Education.
The application for ISAEP funds and the 2007-2008 allocations
for school divisions are attached. Your
application must be postmarked by
midnight or hand-delivered no later than 4:30 p.m.,
June 29, 2007. School divisions will be notified of
funding awards after receipt and approval of program applications. If no
program is planned, write on the face of the application form your school
divisions name and code, as well as the words NO PROGRAM IS PLANNED.
