On June 28, 2007, the Virginia Board of Education adopted cut scores for the Virginia Alternate Assessment Program (VAAP) for grades 3 through 5, grades 6 through 8, and grades 9 through 12 in the content areas of reading, mathematics, science, and history/social science. A table listing the passing scores for each content area in each grade-level band as well as the scores for pass advanced status is available on the Virginia Department of Education website at: http://www.doe.virginia.gov/VDOE/Assessment/home.shtml.
