SUBJECT:	Virginia Middle School Association Annual Conference, October 11-13, 2007

The Virginia Middle School Association (VMSA) will host its annual conference October 11-13, 2007, at the Waterside Marriott Hotel in Norfolk, Virginia. Middle Schools: Making Changes, Meeting Expectations, will feature Robert Marzanos Classroom Instruction That Works, keynoted by Marzanos associate, Judy K. Doty. In addition, there will be general and early-bird sessions with motivational speaker, Dr. Jerry King. On Friday, October 12, participants will attend numerous Standards of Learning-based, interactive and informational breakout sessions presented by Virginia educators. VMSA regional meetings will take place Saturday, October 13.
