SUBJECT:	Reading and Algebra I Online Tutorials Regional Training Opportunities

The Virginia Department of Education will sponsor six half-day training workshops related to the Reading and Algebra I Online Tutorials. The workshops will focus on people who have administrative responsibilities for the tutorials or are tutorial users.

Five regional workshops will be held as follows:

October 2, 2007 - Fort Chiswell High School, Wythe County Public Schools, Fort Chiswell

October 3, 2007 - William Fleming High School, Lawson Hall, Roanoke City Public Schools, Roanoke

October 9, 2007 - Varina High School, Henrico County Public Schools, Richmond

October 16, 2007 - Wilson High School, Portsmouth City Public Schools, Portsmouth

October 16, 2007 - Oakton High School, Fairfax County Public Schools, Vienna

All professional development opportunities will begin at 9 a.m. and end at 12 noon.

Workshop space is limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. A registration form is attached and must be completed for each participant. Incomplete registration forms will not be considered.
