On October 18, 2007,
the Virginia Board of Education accepted for first review the proposed revised History and Social Science, Health Education,
Physical Education, and Driver Education Standards of Learning. The Virginia Board of Education is now
seeking public comment on these Standards
of Learning for use in
The Department of Education has posted links
to the proposed revised History and
Social Science, Health Education, Physical Education, and Driver Education Standards of Learning on the Department

Public comment will
be taken until November 27, 2007, and can be submitted via e-mail using the
