Report of Children and Youth With Disabilities Exiting Special Education, 2007-2008 School Year
Under the provisions of the Individuals With Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and its subsequent amendments, state education agencies are required to provide the U.S. Department of Education with data on students with disabilities exiting special education during the school year.
The exit date for students being reported must fall between July 1, 2007, and June 30, 2008. Exit data must be submitted by Friday, August 1, 2008.
Directions for submitting data will be sent by separate memo to local directors of special education.
