To celebrate Women's History Month, the Library of Virginia has mailed the 2008 Virginia Women in History poster and curriculum to Virginia Studies teachers and history and social science chairpersons in middle and high schools. The poster highlights the state and national contributions of eight Virginia women and includes a short biography of each honoree. The posters and curriculum guides are suitable for teachers in grades K12. A website component of the program is available at http://www.lva.virginia.gov/vw2008/.
