Virginia Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (VASCD) Southwest Regional 2008 Conference

The Virginia Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (VASCD) and Southwest Virginia Education and Training Network (SVETN) extend an invitation to all division superintendents, principals, assistant principals, and instructional leaders to attend the 2008 Virginia ASCD Southwest Regional Conference entitled Maximizing Student Engagement that will be held September 25, 2008, at the Southwest Virginia Higher Education Center, Abingdon, Virginia.

The morning's general session speakers include John Antonetti, The Engagement Cube: What's Engaging Today's Learners? and Crystal Kuykendall, Bringing Out the BEST in ALL Students.

This conference includes afternoon concurrent sessions presented by practicing educators from across the Commonwealth.
