Discipline, Crime, and Violence Report for school year 2007-2008 |
The purpose of this memo is to provide information about final submission of
collected data for the Annual Report of Discipline, Crime, and Violence
(DCV) for the 2007-2008 school year. Data submitted
will meet the reporting requirements for the following:
The data collection process remains
the same. The data submitted will include the regular 2007-2008 school year, the
data from summer school programs for 2006-2007, and all 2007-2008 regional
centers/programs data.
The closing date for submission of
the regional centers/programs data will be June 30, 2008. The closing date for submission for the
regular schools will be July 31, 2008. It is important that the reports be
submitted on or before these dates.
The database for the DCV 2007-2008
report will be closed on July 31, 2008. The database for the DCV 2008-2009
report will be opened on August 1, 2008.

the data collection process can be downloaded from the Department of
Education's website at http://www.doe.virginia.gov/. Users can select Data & Reports at the
top of the home page, and then Go to: Data Collections and select
Discipline, Crime, and Violence Data Collection from the Student Services
