Student Record Collection |
To
comply with the information and reporting requirements for adequate yearly
progress, report cards, and performance indicators of the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 (NCLB), the Department of
Education has updated the Student Record Collection for the 2008-2009 school
year. This ongoing data collection
program continues to reduce the data reporting burden on school divisions and
helps bring continuity and validity to all the enrollment-based collections at
the Department of Education.
Beginning
with the 2008-2009 school year, the Student Record Collection will include five
new elements. These elements include:
School
divisions are strongly encouraged to begin using the state-defined four-digit
entry and exit codes during the 2008-2009 school year. Beginning in the 2009-2010 school year, the
state-defined four-digit entry and exit codes will be required on the Student
Record Collection.
All
students with at least one day of membership in any
