Praxis II
Tests for Teacher Licensure |
Effective
September 1, 2008, the Education Testing Service (ETS) will administer new
versions of two Praxis II tests-- Family and Consumer Sciences and Marketing
Education. The test content is the same;
however, ETS has changed the test codes and will report the tests on a
different score scale. The older version
score scale (250-990) will change to a new score scale (100-200).
The new test
codes and passing scores (based on the new score scale) are as follows:
* Family Consumer Science
Test Code: 0121
Virginia Passing Score: 150
* Marketing Education
Test Code:
0561
Virginia Passing Score: 147
Score reports
for individuals who took the tests prior to September 2008 will be acceptable
for licensure provided the candidate met the passing scores effective at the
