Regulation 8-VAC-20-630 (Attachment A) provides standards for state-funded remedial programs and requires school divisions to submit a remediation plan, record and report specified data pertaining to their state-funded remedial programs, maintain individual student records indicating each student’s expected remediation goal, and annually evaluate the success of these programs.
School divisions are required to submit a remedial plan for summer remedial programs operating during summer 2009, including programs planned for intersessions during the 2009-2010 school year for year-round schools. The required remediation plan (Attachment B) must be submitted electronically no later than February 20, 2009, to email@example.com for approval by the Virginia Board of Education.
