As part of the Virginia Department of Education’s ongoing effort to meet the educational needs of students who are deaf or hard of hearing, professional development opportunities are being offered in collaboration with the Partnership for People with Disabilities at Virginia Commonwealth University and Radford University. These training events are open to teachers of the deaf and hard of hearing, speech-language pathologists, administrators, related service providers and other educators working with students with hearing impairments.
Training events will be conducted as follows:
