The 2008-2010 appropriation act (Chapter 879, 2008 Acts of Assembly) requires each school division to report to the Virginia Department of Education the state and local shares of the at-risk payment that will be used to support approved programs for students who are educationally at-risk. School divisions must also report the comprehensive strategies for intervention, prevention, and remediation addressed in these programs, including the number of students served and review of available data.
The reporting form is included as Attachment A to this memo. All reports should be submitted electronically to OSI.Reports@doe.virginia.gov by September 18, 2009.
