SUBJECT: Standards of Learning (SOL) End-of-Course Algebra, Functions, and Data Analysis Test Update

The development of the new end-of-course Algebra, Functions, and Data Analysis (AFDA) Standards of Learning (SOL) test has been delayed. As stated in Superintendent’s Memo #139-09, Changes in Standards of Learning Mathematics Tests in 2012, dated May 15, 2009, implementation of the AFDA test was to become effective in spring 2012 with field testing occurring in spring 2011. This implementation schedule is rescinded until further notice.
